WIP Update: Camera handle done / I don't like UV uwrapping!

A small update on the video camera. The handle is now finished, it took a while to finish it, mostly because I changed my mind about the "grip" after a while but also due to the fact that there's some weird angles and "creases" on it. The time I can spend on this project right now is limited..

About the "grip" (the "bumpy" part of the handle): I started with the plan to use a texture with normalmapping on the handle (to save on veriticies), but it didn't work too well. Firstly, the grip was a PITA to UV-unwrap straight and evenly. (to fit the texture and the result I wanted), but even with a decent unwrap, it didn't look right. A problem with normalmapping is of course that it's fake. As long as you view it at a pretty straight angle it looks acceptbable, but as soon it get's on a slight angle to the camera it just looks fake an flat (as there's no catual geometry). So I ended up creating it as a mesh and then bending it around the handle using curve modifiers. The result ended up looking much better and realistic (IMO).

The next step is the buttons & switched on the part between tha handle and main body, then onto the main body.
